Imperial jasper is considered to be one of the five fine jaspers. (The other fine jaspers are Bruneau jasper, Morrisonite, Willow Creek jasper and Blue Mountain jasper). Imperial Jasper is found about 50 miles northwest of Guadalajara, Mexico on the east side of a steep canyon.
The symbolism of Imperial Jasper is rooted in its ability to promote balance and harmony within oneself, making it a powerful gemstone for emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. It brings a sense of tranquility and unity, reminding the wearer of the power of companionship.
Each piece I make is one of a kind. Though I do post it on various platforms, there's only one, and once it's gone, it's gone.

The Floating Gardens is the dba of me, Stefanie Meade.
I grew up as a military brat. I Spent most of my youth moving around within Germany and the Eastern US before choosing to settle in Eastern Washington with my husband and cats. As a neurodivergent individual, the arts have always been a comfort, but now they're also my livelihood. I draw, paint, and write but I seem to be best known for my wire wrapped jewelry. I draw inspiration from nature, fantasy, and whimsy. My hobbies are photography and gaming.
