Lanyard Description: This lanyard is made with crackled glass beads and some nice round opaque glass beads. I have spaced these about with some rectangle silver plate beads, Tibetan silver beads caps, and some silver plate small spacer beads. The rectangle silver beads are embossed with a design, and have a bit of antiquing to bring out that design. While the lanyard is large enough to fit over your head, I have added a hook closure at the back of the necklace to ensure you will not mess up your hair-do when you put on the lanyard.
Earring Description: I like to include a pair of earrings with my necklaces and lanyards so that you will have a matching pair of earrings ready to go when you get your lanyard. These earrings have the rectangle silver bead and the round opaque white bead with a silver bead cap on each end. These hang from silver plate fish hook style ear wires.
Measurements: The necklace portion of the lanyard is 34 ¼ inches long. The section of beads that hang from the necklace portion that holds the clasp is 4 ¼ inches long. This means the badge will hand down an addition 4 ¼ inches from the necklace. You can see the lanyard hanging in one of my pictures. The badge clasp is 1 ¾ inches long (included in the length for the section of beads that hangs from the necklace portion) and is ½ inch wide. The large round white opaque beads are 12mm in diameter. The smaller white bead going towards the clasp at the back of the neck are 8mm in diameter. The rectangle silver embossed beads are 14mm long by 7mm wide. The small silver spacer beads are 4mm. The total length of the earrings is 2 1/8 inches long.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I happen on to an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
