Meet the Maker
shortly after my husband and i married we went house hunting, i searched to find the house with the perfect 'beadroom'. we spent 11 yrs in that house and i loved spending every waking moment in my favorite room, my beadroom (studio), where the magic happened. my 3 dogs keep me company the countless hours i spend doing the many facets of this business.
during the first decade and a half of my business whenever i wasnt at home in my beadroom i would be spending as many as 7 days a week set up at the river market in downtown little rock, arkansas.
although i had a website and i opened up my etsy shop in 2006 i had not put very much effort into online sales until recently. it was in january 2012 that i decided to re-open my etsy store. during 2013 i decided to attend the river market less and increase my online presence.
late summer 2014 we bought a house on Lake Conway between Mayflower and Conway. i took over half of my living room and turned it into a temporary studio until recently. my husband and i hung shelves and have turned a spare bedroom into a beautiful studio.
as of June 2015 i retired from the river market, after 18.5 years, and decided to focused the majority of my efforts into my etsy shop. fast forward to 2023, my etsy shop is doing well and i decided to branch out my online presence to goimagine.
