CHARMING DESIGNS: This greeting card set include six assorted designs that feature a different bird image on the front cover; these cards feature a luxurious wrap-around cover that extends the texture of the front image slightly around the creased spine to the back.
HIGH QUALITY PRINTS: Each card is printed in-studio individually using an 8-color dye-based ink printer on 80lb/215gsm professional matte double-sided photo paper, which brings out the lustrous colors and detail; the smooth surface allows you to use pens, markers, or pencils with ease.
HANDMADE IN THE USA: The birds on the fronts were each illustrated by Corey Johnston during his live art streams with the input of his family and friends. Using Procreate on the iPad and specially developed brushes that lean into texture and detail, each image is unique and special.

Featuring unique calendars, greeting cards, and other items, the pieces seen here are all illustrated, printed individually in-house, hand-assembled at home with heart, and sent off to you by the artist himself. The images are painted digitally with specific intent: to brighten your day and create more beauty in your life. It's a labor of love.
All items are printed individually using an 8-color dye-based inkjet printer. All images were created using Procreate on an Apple iPad.

How it’s Made
The images in this card set were from a collection that was a huge step in my evolution as an artist. I had just completed a series of bird images for my very first art calendar, and felt a bit unsatisfied with the results. So I doubled-down and tried to really lean into details in a way that I hadn't taken the time to do, and the result was a series of birds that I felt really happy with.
The original reference images for these birds all came from Unsplash.com, which meant I could adhere pretty close to them without worrying about copyright issues. As an artist, I'm always careful about where I get the images I use for inspiration and reference, and I was careful with these as well.
The type of bird wasn't as important as the details in their plumage, their pose, and the quality of light that was surrounding them. I completed all of these digitally, using the Procreate app on my 12.9" M1 iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. From there, I print them all individually as they're ordered on my own in-studio printer, a Canon Pixma Pro-200 which has 8-colors. I can get really beautiful results using it, and each greeting card I make is a mini-print. From there, I package them up and send them to you!
