These cards are created from my botanical watercolor illustration of Maine wild blueberries.
While I was painting the berries a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly alighted on one of the bushes right in front of me! I felt a little blessed and so included it in my artwork.
This card depicts the life cycle of wild blueberries from sweet little white flowers, to ripening berries, and ending with the cranberry colored leaves of autumn.
This card is great for gardeners and nature lovers and works perfectly for a variety of messages.

Meet the Maker
Welcome! I am an artist-maker living in Maine. I work in my studio which is attached to our 200 year-old farm house overlooking the Sheepscot River.
My style is precise, colorful, and often a bit playful. When I'm not painting I can be found knitting, gardening, babysitting grandkids, or walking our dog along the river.
Previously I taught Visual Arts with National Board Certification at the Elementary and Middle School levels. Before settling in Maine over 30 years ago, I graduated from the Putney School in Vermont and received my BFA in Drawing/Painting from California College of the Arts.
My intention is to create work that is uplifting, soulful, and inspiring. I primarily work in watercolor. For some illustrations and paintings I use acrylic gouache, ink, and acrylics. I have 2 high-end printers for printing my Giclée Fine Art prints and Greeting Cards. I contract with professional printers for my other products. All artwork in my shop is my own creation.
