About this Product
Here's one of my elliptical-style boxes crafted with a combination of walnut and spalted maple. Spalted maple is a personal favorite of mine because its black lines create unique shapes and patterns that each viewer can interpret in their own way. The exterior of the box has been hand-carved to create a detailed texture. The drawer opens by pushing through the hole in the back.
This box measures 6.25 inches in width, 3.75 inches high, and 3.25 inches in depth. It comes with a drawer that can hold small items like jewelry, keys, or cannabis. Each box is unique and you will receive the exact one you see in the pictures. I take pride in creating these boxes with a meticulous and labor-intensive process. Shipping is free within the United States and will be sent via USPS Priority Mail

Meet the Maker
Hello, my name is Jason and I'm addicted to bandsaw boxes. I've been making them for several years and enjoy pushing the envelope in terms of design and aesthetics. All of my boxes are my own design. I use beautiful and unique woods from all over the world.
I carefully select all woods used based on color, grain, and figure. I strive to make gallery-quality boxes with impeccable craftsmanship that will last for generations. My process for crafting these boxes is time-consuming and labor-intensive. I wouldn't have it any other way.
How it’s Made
It all starts with a pattern. I drew this one using a compass and a ruler. Then that pattern is attached to a block of wood and cut out on a bandsaw. The drawer is formed and the drawer face is cut and shaped for a perfect fit. The texturing is all done by hand using a rotary tool and a woodcarving bit.
