How it’s Made
First I decide on a color combination for the crochet flower and the gem. Next, I crochet the flower with fine cotton thread under a bright reading light since the hook is so tiny! Once it's finished, I weave in and trim off any loose ends. I pin the flower into shape on a foam surface and spray them with cornstarch fabric softener. Once dry, they're ready for the gem to be glued on! After that, I take a pair of jewelry pliers and attach the hypoallergenic earring hook. And... it's done!
