This pretty waterskin (or wineskin) makes a great gift for sports fans, outdoor enthusiasts or pretty much anyone who wants to stay well-hydrated.
They come in many colors and I can do custom colors as long as I can find the appropriate leather. The leather is generally a suede finished top grain pigskin, but may vary and be a smooth cowhide as well. If you have a specific preference you can message me to see what I have available.
The capacity is 1 Liter of non-carbonated liquid of your choice. The crossbody strap is approximately 45 inches long. Two photos show custom versions I have made and the 3rd photo shows a 1 liter bota on top of a 2 liter bota. Artwork is an extra charge; please message me to discuss.

Meet the Maker
I've been making things since my mother gave me a needle and thread when I was 5 years old. Almost everyone in my family makes something - my mother paints and quilts, one brother paints, the other works in metal and draws, my father worked with metal and made knives and guns (from scratch!). And my eldest spawn got their BFA in Illustration. My son has decided to become a welder, so I guess the metalwork interest is genetic.
Nowadays I have more freedom to try new things, so you will see a wide variety of things in my shop. I've worked with fabric forever (40 years), and leather for about 28 years. I've always loved miniatures, but only recently began working on some fairy themed items and plants. I joined a lapidary club some years back, which fueled my interest in beading and wirework. I'm slowly dipping my toe into making dolls and accessories for them.
I grew up in Ohio, but I live in the Boston area with my spouse and teenager and my mother also lives with us - along with about 45 houseplants and 2 cats! (I'm thinking about making leather cat toys!)
