Hello and welcome to my world!
As a stay-at-home mom, I worked from home doing alterations and crafting gifts for all occasions. When my youngest child started school, I joined the workforce and had a successful career that spanned over 35 years.
I never lost my love and passion for creating. When I retired from the outside workforce, I decided the time had come and went back to what I truly love. I've come full circle.
I’ve always loved trying anything and everything that got my creative juices flowing, but my true passion was the sewing machine. In 2018, truME Collection was launched, and in 2023, I introduced Dani's Pawtique.
You can do anything and accomplish whatever you want on this life's journey, no matter where you are on that journey. You simply need to be tru to yourself.
How it’s Made
The image is an original photograph or thoughtfully composed artwork, hand-enhanced with subtle crushed glass glitter. Every piece is finished individually, making each print quietly unique.
The enhanced photo is paired with a handmade illustrated companion card, created to visually and emotionally reflect the artwork. I generate the companion card as an original, mixed-media artwork, recreating the imagery through an illustration app and then finishing each card by hand with various applications and subtle accents. Every card is individually hand-edited and completed as an original piece.
