About this Product
The Witty Waxwing 3.5x5 inch folded greeting card is blank inside. The card was created (from original artwork) and printed in sunny Colorado. Single cards come in a plastic sleeve; two (or more) cards come in a protective kraft card box (without individual plastic sleeves).
Bird watchers (including myself) in Colorado have been all a flutter about Cedar and Bohemian Waxwing sightings this year. This fine looking bird was inspired by the waxwing craze!
The Witty Waxwing is also available as an art print.

Meet the Maker
My inspiration stems from the beauty found in nature, with an emphasis on birds and botanicals. I gravitate towards vibrant colors as I create stylized and whimsical paintings with a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolors and gouache. I am proud to be part of the creative community at Artists on Santa Fe Gallery and Studios in Denver, Colorado. Click here to see more of my work.
How it’s Made
My first step in creating this card was to paint a cedar waxwing with watercolors. Next I digitally scanned the painting and added the bowtie, monocle and background in Procreate (on my IPad).
