About this Product
Ever wish you could be as comfortable as a baby in a romper? Now you can! This one-piece jumpsuit, romper, bib overalls is so versatile--you can wear it as pants with the loose elastic cuffs or unbutton the 5 buttons at the bottom to change it into a dress.
Cotton and linen in beautiful subtle tones of turquoise, mauve, and more.
I wore mine on an 11-hour flight with no problems. I didn't feel bound at the waist from pants, and I unbuttoned when heading to the toilet, so nothing touched the floor. And because I use many color variations, I had multiple tops to wear underneath, both long and short sleeves.
I machine wash these in hot water before and after dyeing to remove the excess dye, and it barely wrinkles. I suggest washing in warm or cold water and hanging to dry. I iron them to sell, but I don't think it's necessary.
This jumper is X-large and is very roomy. I went down 2 sizes because I'm short--5'2"--and I wanted it to hit above my ankles, and I still had plenty of room.
Ice dyeing is unique because the dye colors separate and other colors magically appear. Photos do not do it justice. I have added one close-up so you might see more details.
Because so many people requested this outfit at shows after seeing me wearing it, I have dyed several more sizes and colors. Check out my other listings or PM me for special requests.

Unfortunately Goimagine is closing down as of March 23. PattSheldon.com will remain open until that time. My etsy store will continue as my online presence for sales. You can find me at www.etsy.com/shop/patt711.
If you live in or visit the SF Bay Area, I also participate in Open Studios. Our coastal art group has added another OS for Spring, 2026--May 30 & 31--from Half Moon Bay to Montara in San Mateo County. We have 36 artists in 23 locations.
For our November event, information can be found later in the year on our website. Check www.colonyofcoastsideartists.com for our Spring show!
How it’s Made
All ice-dyed pieces are individually hand-dyed by me as the artist. I usually choose 4-6 colors and even when I dye several items in one container, no two look alike. Ice dyeing takes at least 24 hours and because I'm using ice not hot water, the colors in the dye separate and create new colors as well as blending with neighboring colors. They resemble watercolors. All ice-dyed pieces are individually hand-dyed by me as the artist. I usually choose 4-6 colors and even when I dye several items in one container, no two look alike. FAQ's:
Do I custom dye? Yes, I will gladly dye something for you. Because ice dyeing is very random and unpredictable, I cannot guarantee the outcome but I have many delighted customers.
