This handcrafted edge wood cutting board is made from maple and mahogany woods and is finished to a satin feel with a food grade finish. It has drip edges around the board and a 4 inch wide reservoir to hold your cut items. This would make a great addition to your kitchen equipment, and it is designed to last for years.
This cutting board is 18 inches long, 12 inches wide and 1 ¼ inches thick. It comes with a black metal handle on each end to easily move the board, and it has silicone feet to keep it from slipping on your countertop. This is made from maple wood, and it has three strips of mahogany wood which adds to its beauty. It has a ½ inch drip edge surrounding the board and there is a 4 inch by 11 inch reservoir to hold your cut items. This board has been finished to a satin feel with a food grade finish and it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, and it should never be placed in a sink of dishwater or in a dishwasher.

Meet the Maker
I have worked with wood most of my life as a hobby, but now that I am semi-retired, I enjoy working with wood in my shop more often, and I want to make things that people can use in their homes. Each piece is lovingly made by hand, and every step is done with my hands guiding each tool I use. Our items are made using hardwoods such as walnut, oak, maple and mahogany and a satin lacquer finish is used on our non-food use items. Our items that are for food use have had a food grade finish applied to them so that they are safe to serve food on or with. They are then hand rubbed to a smooth satin finish. Some of our most popular items are the Wooden Book Stand; our Wooden Trivet for placing hot pots and plates on, and our Wooden Honey Dipper which is hand turned on my lathe. Our items have gone out to many people all across the USA, and I know that you will be pleased with them just as others have stated in their reviews. How it’s Made
This cutting board is made from red maple and mahogany wood. Drain grooves have been cut around the board to drain juices from meat and other items. A 4 inch x 11 inch reservoir has been cut so that you can place your already cut items there. The board is then sanded smooth and a food grade finish is applied
