it's a pleasure to create what others bring to me. I wake up excited to get into the shop and make something. Long gone are the days of dreading going to work the night before. My mind is always looking for a way to fulfill what others are in need of, or what they want.
You never know what is in store for the next day. I get to take a medium and turn it into something special for another person. It is my pleasure to do that for you.
How it’s Made
Our lanterns are primarily crafted from, reclaimed wood that would otherwise end up as firewood or in a landfill. Additionally, we use logs and trees that have been felled for safety reasons, such as posing a risk to nearby properties. Each component of the lantern is carefully milled using a table saw and router. Once the pieces are properly milled and sanded, they are meticulously assembled with glue and a finish nailer.
