This is a custom built baby gate or pet gate that will add a bit of charm to any room or hallway in your home and keep any little ones or big one depending on your dog breed ( should you use it for that purpose) at bay. Our gates are constructed from reclaimed wood, assembled using glue and a mortise and tenon joint for an extremely strong bond, stained or painted to a color of your choosing and then I use several layers of polyurethane on all surfaces and edges. This will aid them in being water-resistant, help reduce wrapping, shrinking, and cracking and extend the life of the gate. Finally they are sanded one more time with an extremely fine grit of sand paper to give them a baby smooth finish. The dimensions of the gate pictured are 36"L x 3/4"W x 24"H and it is stained Special Walnut. However, we can make them shorter or larger depending on your wants. How to measure for a baby gate or pet gate.
1: Measure the opening you wish to install the gate. The gate needs a minimum of a half inch on each side to clear properly, So subtract an inch for your measurement to find the width you need. Note that if door moulding is present at the base of the floor the distance between the molding is what needs to be measured not the distance between the walls.
2: Determine what height you would like, being sure to take into account how much clearance you would like between the gate and the floor.
The gate usually ships within 2 weeks.

Do not accept your delivery if the damage is visible! If you cannot be there for the delivery, please take pictures before unpacking, and take pictures of everything so we have the needed evidence to file a claim.
