About this Product
Our beautifully crafted Engraved Wooden Spoon, the perfect cooking utensil and sentimental gift. This beautifully designed spoon combines functionality with a personalized touch, making it a cherished item in any kitchen. The highlight of this Engraved Wooden Spoon is the option to personalize it with your home state and a heart symbol. This Decor item is laser engraved in our workshop. Each spoon will have a unique wood grain, which may cause the wording darkness/lightness to slightly vary.
Additionally, to ensure longevity and preserve the natural beauty of the Engraved Wooden Spoon, we recommend the regular application of mineral oil. Oiling the wood not only enhances its appearance but also provides protection against moisture and prevents the wood from drying out or cracking. Mineral oil acts as a barrier, sealing the pores of the wood and preventing it from absorbing liquids and odors during cooking. By applying a thin layer of mineral oil to the spoon's surface, you can help maintain its smooth texture and prevent the growth of bacteria.
Care Instructions- To oil your Engraved Wooden Spoon, simply apply a small amount of food-grade mineral oil onto a clean, soft cloth and rub it gently onto the entire surface of the spoon. Allow the oil to penetrate the wood for a few minutes, then wipe off any excess oil with a dry cloth. Repeat this process periodically or whenever the wood starts to look dry. Do not soak your spoon or put it in the dishwasher. Use it as you would a regular wooden spoon if you use it in red sauce expect it to reflect looking as it was used in red sauce. By regularly oiling your Engraved Wooden Spoon, you not only protect its longevity but also enhance its natural grain patterns, ensuring that it remains a beautiful and functional piece in your kitchen for years to come. Re-oil as necessary.

Meet the Maker
Are you looking for one-of-a-kind, handmade decor that looks great and helps reduce waste? Look no further than our Etsy shop! For years, I strongly desired to pursue my passion for creativity. With my husband's support, I transformed the guest room in our Texas home into a painting studio and began creating to my heart's content. As our unique creations gained popularity among friends and family, we decided to branch out further and set up a shop on Etsy. Our business has grown over time, with my husband discovering his own niche in creating custom signs from recycled pallets, and even our 12-year-old daughter joining in on the fun. We love working on these projects together as a family, and when my husband was offered a new job, we packed up everything, including our growing business, and moved to Avoca, Iowa in December 2015.At our Etsy shop, every item we offer is lovingly hand-made and hand-painted. We take pride in giving new life to discarded materials whenever possible, including recycled pallets and other discarded wood. Our simple yet effective process involves my husband building the sign in his "workshop" (our garage), and then I take over in my studio, painting and staining the sign. Finally, we package the finished product in recycled cardboard and ship it out.We are grateful for the pictures and responses we receive from our happy customers, as each piece we create fills us with pride and joy. However, the most rewarding aspect of it all is being able to work as a family and share our passion for creativity with one another. So, if you're looking for unique, handmade decor that helps reduce waste, check out our Etsy shop. Thank you for being a part of our journey, and may God bless you.
