Meet the Maker
Hello! I am Lea the woman behind Novel Wares. I have over 25 years of experience in the digital design field. I started out as a traditional Graphic Designer but transitioned my career to User Experience Design after a few years. I spent the majority of my career making web sites and mobile apps easier for people to use.
In 2018, I was on the search for something different. I still wanted to use my design skills, but I wanted more control over the end product, heck maybe even touch it. It took a year for me to figure out what I was going to do. I tried lots of different types of arts before I really settled on laser cutting with wood. It was the perfect combination of my love of creating modern design elements, having a physical piece all the while using a natural material.
In 2019, I started Novel Wares. I wanted share a little bit of the joy I got out creating these pieces with others. To help brighten their spaces and help them express their unique style.

Shop Policies
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
• Contact me within: 5 days of delivery
• Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery
• Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized orders
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Privacy Policy
I don't store your personal information or use it for any purpose other than filling your orders. You won't be signed up for any emails automatically simply by shopping, you have to explicitly sign up and request emails. Your email address will never be sold to third parties. Your payment processor will obviously need your information, but none of that is stored or used by Novel Wares. Unless I'm legally obligated to release your personal info, I don't use it other than for regular marketing purposes.

Shipping Policy
- All orders are made to order and shipped in 3-5 business days of when the order was received.
- We use the USPS as our main carrier. All free shipping is first class or parcel select. For faster shipping speed, you should upgrade to priority at checkout!
- Shipping speed is determined by the postage that you choose at checkout, and is determined by the US postal service.
- Estimated delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless you upgrade to 1-2 day priority express shipping at checkout.
- Delivery times start when the package is handed off to the post office, not when the order is placed.
- All postal delays are out of my control and can't be predicted.
- I don't guarantee any delivery times personally! That's out of my control.
