About this Product

Keep your best friend warm this winter with a 100% wool crocheted dog sweater!

Are you looking to get away from cheap synthetic materials?

Wool is a natural, renewable material that naturally wicks moisture and effectively regulates temperature. It is durable and resistant to mold and is all-around just good quality stuff. My pit bull loves her sweater and won't go outside without it if there is snow on the ground, which there is for about half the year. It's like getting hugged by a blanket, which she also loves.

Make sure you take good care of your wool sweater and wash it gently by hand in cool water then lay flat to dry. If you hang it up while wet it will stretch and may get mis-shapen. This property of wool also makes it possible to stretch it a little bit in places if it is too tight.

If I don't have the specific color you are after in stock then please give me an extra 5-7 days to get the yarn and make the sweater for you. I don't seem to be able to restrict ordering based on what I have in stock but you can tell from the pictures.

Meet the Maker

Hi, my name is Halley and I live out in the middle of nowhere, Idaho. I spend my time setting up and managing our little homestead and learning and developing new skills to make us more self-sufficient and to help us better steward the resources that God has given us.

I don't want this store to be something where I try and market to an audience to make a bunch of money, I want it to be an authentic reflection of me and my life. The sola wood flower arrangements I make are something I learned to make for our wedding. The wool sweaters are something I started making when I moved to a cold place. My dog is a baby and doesn't like going outside when it's cold so I started making dog sweaters. I started making useful low-energy cooking tools so I can keep my house cool in the summer. And I will probably find more cool things to share with you as time goes on. I just love making things!

How it’s Made

This item is crocheted by hand from 100% wool yarn and a crochet hook.

I will give credit where credit is due for the pattern if you would like to make it yourself but if you would like a pre-made sweater, then I've got you covered!
