About this Product

Sew your very own Wulver Wolf Art Doll!

ABOUT THE WULVER WOLF

The Wulver is a wolf-headed, human-bodied being from the Shetland Islands. Legend says that Wulvers live mostly in caves and enjoy fishing along rivers and sitting atop a “Wulver Stane”, or flat rock, while catching their fish.

PATTERN INFO

The Wulver Wolf is designed to be hand-sewn using wool felt and thread and is geared toward adventurous beginners and beyond who have at least basic hand-sewing skills. The finished doll stands approximately 15 inches tall and is intended for display (not as a toy).

This pattern provides a written and illustrated tutorial to make a hand sewn doll with pictured accessories. Also included are two coloring pages of the Wulver Wolf so you can experiment with your own design ideas... or just to color for fun! A mini stitch guide, resources list and full color photos are included with the pattern for additional reference.

Meet the Maker

Hello friends, I'm Noël, founder and sole creator here at Wanderlust Woolves!

Wanderlust Woolves was born out of my desire to knit a miniature wolf head (like the taxidermy specimens you see in a natural history museum) that was beautiful, whimsical, and somewhat realistic looking. I accomplished this in 2014 and Wanderlust Woolves grew from this wee little seed into the blossoming collection of illustration, sculpture, patterns, and goods that it is today!

Thanks for visiting!
