Dress #1 --Dress 1 is made from a butter/canary yellow cotton pink floral print fabric. The lined bodice features a wide subtle v-neckline and puffed sleeves. The full, gathered skirt hits right at the knees creating a wonderful summery feel. The hemline has been stiffened a little to allow the skirt to keep its fullness. The finishing touch is a medium pink satin bow nestled on the left side of the waistline.
Dress #2 --This dress is certain to give some tropical summer vibes with its gathered tea length skirt made out of a popping yellow, coral, and fuchsia floral print. The lined butter/canary yellow bodice features short sleeves out of the same fabric as the skirt, a subtle square neckline, and a cluster of pink and fuchsia rosettes at the left shoulder (rosettes are sewn and hot glued on for added stability).
Dress #3--Made from the same yellow floral print as Dress 1, this dress has both a lined bodice and lined A-line skirt. The bodice features a wide v-neckline and mid-length sleeves. A medium dark green satin bow perches jauntily on the right side of the waist-simple yet flirty.
These dresses fit 11.5" Fashion Dolls/1:6 scale dolls/play scale dolls (fits best on a doll that is either articulated or can raise its arms to the sides and ones with standard or narrow hips; some dresses may fit wider hipped dolls depending on style; please contact if not sure) and are created to hold up to much use. All our doll dresses are made, not only with style and beauty in mind, but durability as well. The bodices are lined, and all seams are finished with multiple zig-zag stitching.
Care Instructions: For small dirt spots use a clean wash cloth or rag and rub the spot out with lukewarm soapy water. For heavy duty cleaning, gently swish/lightly scrub dress together in warm soapy water. Empty water and rinse in a tub of clean water. Pat dry with a towel and let air dry. Iron on low setting if desired, watching out for lace and trims that might melt. If dress has red fabric or super pigmented fuchsia or coral fabric, DO NOT do heavy duty cleaning. Spot clean dirty area with a lukewarm soapy wash cloth or rag. Otherwise fabric may bleed onto other fabric colors.

Meet the Maker
Hello, and welcome to Yankee Doodle Darlings! We are a family of sisters that enjoy creating all types of things. Sewing, art, design, and anything that strikes our fancy! We grew up watching our mom sew and create items to decorate our house, and I guess you could say we caught the creative bug! It started out when we were little, making more dresses for our paper dolls (they never had enough!), and over the years it has landed us here.
How it’s Made
All our dresses are handmade by us using quality materials, and old fashioned industry, labor, and skill. ALL our fashion doll clothes have lined bodices unless specified and ALL our fashion doll clothes have finished seams either by multiple zigzagging or by enclosure; depending on the fabric and dress style, the skirts of our doll dresses are also often lined or have an attached petticoat (see individual listings). We strive to create fashion doll clothes that are so realistic and beautiful that our customers wish they themselves could wear the dress and yet so durable that they become a family heirloom handed down to future generations. A Yankee Doodle Darlings fashion doll dress is designed to fit like a glove yet be easy to put on and take off. We try to sewn on all the little details such as buttons, beads, and trims for durability but at times must use a durable glue (see individual listings).

Clothing
We understand that buying clothing online can be a risk, which is why we allow returns on clothing. Please see below for particulars.

A refund will be granted when we receive item/s in original condition. The refund issued will be for the total of the item/s minus the original shipping.

Exchanges
We do not do exchanges. For clothing, if you realize the size you ordered is too small or too big, we suggest returning the item for a refund and reordering in the correct size.

We also believe in being good stewards of the earth. This includes honoring the legacy our grandparents and great-grandparents left to us from their Depression era experiences of waste not, want not.
