Scarf Description: This is a fun scarf that I crocheted in a triangle pattern. It looks like a smaller version of a shawl, as it is a bit shorter in length. This one has a large wooden button to hold it in place. The yarn I used is an acrylic yarn that variegates in colors from blue, a darker blue, a rust color, a told color, then on the edge a yellow that has a touch of green. Then, I have added some gold eyelash yarn around the edge and through out the shawl scarf for added fun. It makes it a bit fluffy too. The two yarns are acrylic yarns. The neck edge of the shawl scarf is long enough you can wrap this around your neck twice before buttoning it.
Measurements: The neck side of this triangle scarf is 43 inches long. Where the scarf buttons is at about 39 inches. The other two sides are 35 inches each. I did not flatten the ruffle at the bottom, just measured right over the ruffles. The wooden button is 1 3/8 inches in diameter.
-The length from the neck to the longest point in what would be considered the center (from top to bottom) 28 inches long.
Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Environment: This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home.
Packaging: My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Color: Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in computer monitors.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I happen on to an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
