Yellow Wonder Alpine Strawberry seeds:
(*Suggested for intermediate to advanced growers/gardeners only. Strawberry seeds are temperamental and need optimal conditions to grow. You will need a heat or germination mat and the seeds must be surface sown, not buried. Instructions are provided. Please adhere as closely as possible to guarantee successful germination. Yellow Wonder Strawberry seeds are another variety of the Alpine wild strawberry variety. Similar to the White Soul and Alpine varieties, these will produce little to no runners. Each plant will be compact and produce several dainty pointed fruits with protruding seeds. Each berry is a pale gold color and extremely fragrant. The flavor of the Yellow Wonder is best described as strawberry crossed with rose and subtle notes of pineapple. These do well in window boxes, containers, hanging baskets, and raised beds.Â
Maturity days: 110-120 days
Strawberries can be more challenging to grow than from rootstock but it can be done. The important thing to remember is to use a heat/germination mat, sprinkle the seeds on the surface of the soil and press them down gently, then cover with a dome or cover them loosely with plastic wrap. We provide detailed instructions with your seeds to make sure you get them growing. If you have any questions or need any help, please reach out so we can make sure you get things growing.
