How it’s Made
I sketch my design idea, in this instance, a charming baby bunny blanket.
Next, I transfer my sketch onto an Excel grid chart, adhering to the overlay mosaic crochet guidelines. Then I make the blanket, and as I go, I fix the chart wherever the charting needs adjusting.
I then finalize charting the grid design.
Following that, I write out the pattern.
Additionally, I compile a digital PDF pattern, incorporating instructions, charts, border recommendations with straightforward diagrams, and guidance on blocking the finished item if necessary. I include a simple photo tutorial for executing the inverse stitch, allowing the creator to replicate the design on both sides of the blanket if desired.
I explain how to introduce additional color sections if preferred.
Experts in the Overlay Mosaic Technique are enlisted to test my pattern, ensuring its accuracy. Subsequently, I publish my pattern here and elsewhere, and actively discuss it in social media groups.
