Drawings are done on fine art paper (Bristol board vellum or Crescent Illustration board) using Alcohol Markers, Micron Pens and Prismacolor and/or Polychromos Colored Pencils. Prices range from $245- $335 depending on image size and amount of detail. Overall standard sizes range from 10 x 8 up to 20 x 16 including approximately a 1"- 2" white acid free matting. image size will vary depending on your photos.
Please email me several clear, IN FOCUS, photos of the façade of your home. Any specific features or items you want or DO NOT want in the drawing should be specified. I will create a preliminary sketch/drawing and email you back the proof for your approval.
Larger sizes available upon request.
All custom portraits will be shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx with additional insurance. I will try to find the least expensive way to ship depending on size of artwork. Priority shipping is available as shipping option.

Meet the Maker
I have been a custom picture framer for 38 years and an artist FOREVER! I started making my own "Amazing Leather Sewing Thimbles" over 20 years ago when I came across another leather thimble while “sew mounting” a hockey jersey at work. I decided I could make a more comfortable, durable thimble. I believe I have achieved that goal. Over the years I have sold thousands of thimbles across the country and worldwide to many satisfied returning customers. Each thimble is handmade by me, to your specifications, carefully hand sewn ironically using my own leather thimble. I guarantee you will fall in love with these and even forget that you are wearing them!
My custom house, people and pet portraits are HAND DRAWN in pencil and micron pen on Crescent Art Boards and colored with Alcohol markers and Prismacolor colored pencils. Truly a special gift for someone in your life. Happy shopping, Nancy
How it’s Made
Drawings are done on heavy fine art paper (Bristol board vellum) using Alcohol Markers, Micron Pens and Prismacolor and/or Polychromos Colored Pencils. I begin with a pencil sketch created from your photos as reference (so any changes or extra details should be requested) Next, I do a background layer (underpainting) of alcohol markers, then complete the details and final layer with colored pencils.
The finished drawing is matted (Optional) and protected in an archival sleeve, ready to frame.
Shop Policies
EXCHANGES ARE ENCOURAGED AND RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR THIMBLE within 7 days of receipt. All I ask is that you return the thimble in excellent condition (not used or damaged) I can create a return shipment label to go with your replacement thimble(s) and you can ship the wrong thimbles back to me in the same envelope.
