Meet the Maker
As a grandmother I take great delight in seeing the smiles of my grandchildren when they receive a new stuffed toy from me! Whether it’s a cuddly animal or a soft stuffed vehicle, I always try to make what they request. And I will do the same for you! I have been crocheting for 50+ years and still love to make cute toys most of all. However, I have also made baby blankets, beanies, scarves and other items. If you have a special request, please ask.
How it’s Made
This opossum is crafted from plush chenille yarn. The eyes are secured inside the head with several strands of cord attaching them to one another. On the outside, the eyes are glued to the chenille for extra security. The tail has chenille stems (pipe cleaners) to help it hold it's shape and make it a bit posable.
