Meet the Maker
As a grandmother I take great delight in seeing the smiles of my grandchildren when they receive a new stuffed toy from me! Whether it’s a cuddly animal or a soft stuffed vehicle, I always try to make what they request. And I will do the same for you! I have been crocheting for 50+ years and still love to make cute toys most of all. However, I have also made baby blankets, beanies, scarves and other items. If you have a special request, please ask.
How it’s Made
This adorable kitty is made of baby soft acrylic yarn and stuffed with acrlic filling. It is 8 1/2 inches from the backside to the front of the front paws and 6 inches high. All parts are securely stitched on. The eyes are shank buttons which are secured with several bands of stitches on the inside of the head and are also stitched to one another for extra safety. The eye patches are held in place by the buttons, but all layers are additionally glued together. The whiskers are securely tied together inside the muzzle. The tail has chenille stems inside to make it posable with the ends embedded deep into the body of the kitten.
