About this Product

Handmade Ipe Roxo Hardwood Earrings.

Often called Brazilian Walnut.  Handroanthus impetiginosus, the pink ipĂȘ, pink lapacho or pink trumpet tree, is a tree in the family Bignoniaceae, distributed throughout North, Central and South America, from northern Mexico south to northern Argentina. Along with all the other species in the Handroanthus genus, it is the national tree of Paraguay.

Earrings are finished with our two step natural oil finish to highlight the species unique grain patterns and colors as well as to protect the wood from moisture.  No stains or dyes are used, these are the natural colors of the wood.

Earring are assembled using Black Titanium (Grade 1 Commercially Pure Titanium) completely hypoallergenic findings and jump rings to help alleviate any potential issues in people with sensitive skin.

How it’s Made

These earrings are first rough shaped on a belt grinder and then hand sanded to final shape.
