God Bless This Home Filet Doily Pattern
Size: Lightly Blocked Size: 18” inches wide 17" in length
This doily pattern uses the filet crochet technique. It would look beautiful in a picture frame for wall decor or a gift idea.
Supplies Needed:
Size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook
Size 10 Crochet Thread
Comes with Pattern:
1 Design Chart - Grid Charting
Stitch Symbol Chart - a row-by-row crochet symbol chart, which you can use to follow along, and it also helps if there is a problem with a row count.
The instructions are written out row by row.
This pattern is best suited for any crocheter from beginners to experts. Filet Crochet is a series of simple common crochet stitches of double crochet, chains, and sometimes single crochet.

How it’s Made
I rough draw out my idea for a design, in this case, an inspirational wall decor or table topper.
I then take my drawn-out design and put it on an Excel grid chart (sheet) following the filet crochet rules. And make a design chart.
I make a chart using crochet stitch symbols row by row.
I write out the pattern.
I also prepare a digital PDF pattern and add the instructions, charts, border suggestions with easy diagrams, and how to block the finished product if needed.
I crocheted the design with the yarn I decided for it.
I have people who know how to do the Filet Crochet Technique test my pattern to make sure all the Ps and Qs are in order. Then I publish my pattern here and in other places... and talk a lot about it in groups on social media sites.
