Lacy Table Runner Chart Pattern
Size: Approximately 51"x 12"
A pretty lacy runner, that would look perfect laying in the middle of a dining room table on top of a pretty color cloth. It uses the Filet crochet technique of is simple sequences of double crochet and chains. Uses approximately 300 yards of crochet thread size 10. US crochet terms are used in this pattern.
The pattern comes with:
1 design chart - grid chart with filled-in squares.
1 Stitch Symbol Chart - row-by-row stitch symbols.
Quick photo tutorial on blocking if needed.
1 border suggestion with an easy-to-follow diagram.

How it’s Made
I decide I want to design a pretty table runner that would look good on a long dining room table or even a fireplace hearth. And be a beautiful handmade gift made for a friend or loved one. Or to sell...
So I first work out a design on graph paper. This can take days as each area needs to match up with the other part of the runner, and it must be correct or the finished piece would end up lopsided.
Then I make the design, and then have pattern testers make the piece to see if I messed up anywhere on the charts or instructions.
Then I set up the PDF pattern on Word, add the directions for the stitches used, with a little bit of diagram drawings. Add instructions for blocking if they want to block the finished piece, add a border suggestion or two with a simple diagram and/or instructions. Check everything over, and make a pdf, add it to this site for my crochet friends to find.
I use my original designs and I design the pattern and publish my own patterns.
