About this Product

Handmade Embroidery Necklace in Rectangle Bezel

This sweet pendant is handmade by me - with a lot of love and attention to detail.

Product details:
Materials: The pendant features embroidery work done on fabric using colorful embroidery floss (yellow, blue and green).  The needlework wrapped around a glass cabochon is set in a silver-tone square bezel.  It comes with a silver-tone snake chain.

Size: The pendant measures 0.5” x 2”

Design: The embroidery work daisy and leaf design was created using embroidery floss thread on a background of white fabric.

Style: This necklace combines hand sewing and a sleek bezel, making it suitable for  everyday wear.  It’s a beautiful piece that can be worn with a breezy summer outfit.

This necklace would be a lovely gift for a birthday, Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.

Care instructions: To ensure longevity of your necklace, avoid getting the pendant wet or coming in contact with harsh chemicals.

Meet the Maker

I’ve been a Maker since I was a young child.  I remember rushing to finish my worksheets in 1st grade so I could draw and color.  My parents engaged my creativity with origami books, watercolor sets, sketch pads, beads and yarn.

I was, and am, surrounded by women who love fiber arts.  My Grandma gifted me a stamped cross-stitch square and embroidery floss.  My Granny crocheted dozens of Afghans of all sizes.  My Mom indulged my clumsy attempts at making my own clothing on a Singer Genie.   My best friend and I explored crochet and quilting.  My godmother showed me how to knit, but I could never get the hang of it!  During college I majored in Visual Art Education with a concentration in Fiber Arts.

I continue to explore different mediums - watercolor paint, embroidery, jewelry making and polymer clay.  I’ve created original  and published original crochet patterns (a collection of crochet plant patterns and holiday gnomes).

I sell my creations at Knick Knacks in Duncanville, TX and online through Abby Farmer Creations.

I live in Duncanville, Texas with my husband, Phil and our fur-babies, Duncan & Cassie.  I’ve been a member of Wycliffe since 2005.  I currently work as the Canvas administrator for Dallas Int’l University.
