Beautiful Hawaii Beach
This generously textured beach scene was carefully crafted using high-quality oil paints on a sturdy 10" x 8" x 1" cradled wood panel. I used a combination of brush and palette knife techniques to create a richly textured masterpiece. After the oil paint was allowed to fully dry, a final layer of protective varnish was applied to enhance the depth of color, provide a satin sheen protection, and ensure longevity. Fresh, signed and absolutely beautiful.
I enjoy creating landscapes that provide the illusion of clouds moving, waves crashing and the ever changing light upon the surfaces. Life is not still...everything is in constant motion.
