Stir a little magic into your life with this personalized and totally customizable Kitchen Witch Bamboo Spoon.
Your spoon measures approximately 11.75” tall (30cm); the bowl of the spoon is approximately 3.75” tall x 2.25” wide (9.5cm x 6cm)
As each spoon is burned by hand to order, all or part of the designs can be changed, with your own designs/wording added.
The back of the spoon is blank, but I am more than happy to add a little quote, message, name, spell etc for no additional cost.
As the spoons are organic with no added paints/varnishes, they are perfectly safe to use (although I do recommend gentle hand washing)
Each spoon will differ ever so slightly in size/shape as they are made from organic material. The designs on each will also differ slightly as they are each drawn and burned freehand: each design taking several hours to complete using the ancient art of Pyrography (burning designs into wood and other materials using a burning hot metal tip on a special ‘pen’ tool.)
To accompany your spoon, I embroider a personalized fabric gift bag with a design to coordinate with the design of your spoon.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Maxine from BellesHearts, thank you so much for visiting, I hope you find something you love!
Before I began with BellesHearts, I lived in England with my 3 older children, my dogs, cats, goats and chickens. I worked at a local high school as an English Language and Literature teacher - my specialism was working with students with special educational needs and/or social and emotional barriers to learning. These were some of the most amazing and wonderful people I have ever had the privilege of meeting, yet an intense and challenging time. To make a difference, passion, patience, acceptance, tolerance, creative teaching and learning, from both my students and I were paramount.
Then everything changed. I met my husband who lived in PA, we got married and I moved over to the US to live. We have a spirited little boy with whom I spend my days, along with our Goldendoodle, Gracie and our Chiweenie, Floki.
I decided to trade in my creativity in teaching, for creating with my hands. I have always enjoyed working with wood and with fabrics. Inspired and taught by my father - an amazing carpenter, engineer and artist; my mother with her strength and determination and by my maternal grandparents, with their unquestioning belief in me always.
BellesHearts was born and there is nothing I love more, nothing so rewarding as being able to create 'Handmade Memories'; truly unique and special pieces for others to treasure.
How it’s Made
I burn designs on to the bamboo spoons by hand, using a method called "Pyrography", which literally means "writing with fire". I use a burning hot tool to scorch your design permanently into the wood. A coat of food safe wax is applied for added durability.
I digitally design the imaged to be embroidered onto a "patch" which I affix to the gift bag. The image is then embroidered onto coordinating fabric.

Exchanges & Returns
BellesHearts does not offer exchanges or returns on any custom made/personalised item unless there is an error made by BellesHearts. If the error is my fault, then I will offer a replacement of the same or a refund as long as the buyer submits a photograph of the error on the product.
