The Flaxseed Heat Cold Pack measures a generous 10" x 16" and is filled with approximately 40 ounces of natural-food grade flaxseed. The heat pack comes with a removable, washable cover that will extend its utility for a long time to come.
Filled with natural flaxseed, it is an excellent go to source for warm heat helping to relieve achy stiff muscles and joints. It's great for a warm hug on cold, winter nights or in the summer when the air conditioner is cranked up. The warm flaxseed provides a soothing sensation that relaxes and calms the body and mind. Heat it up and take to bed for a warm snuggle.
Because flaxseed is pliable it can be used as a multi-use heat pack for any area of the body that can use TLC. The heat-cold pack is available scented or unscented.

when choosing a scented option the flaxseed is blended with organic botanicals;
removable and washable covers are made with 100% soft cotton flannel. Note, the heated hand and wrist wrap DOES NOT have a removable cover.
inserts are created using 100% unbleached cotton muslin that is lined with microwavable cotton batting lining to extend the warming action of the flaxseed bag;
the inner bags are stitched using both serger and single needle sewing machines for lasting durability;
the flaxseed heat pad overall measures 10"x16", and weighs approximately 40oz. The perfect size for upper or lower back pain, tummy discomfort, thighs and more.

Caution: It is recommended that the flaxseed bag be heated in 60-second intervals with a maximum heat time of 2 minutes. Because all microwaves heat differently you will want to time test to determine what is right for you. Adult supervision is recommended to avoid unnecessary accidents or injuries caused by an overheated flax bag.
WARNING: when heating the therapeutic flax bags, it can get hot FAST so test first before placing it on the skin. TEST, TEST, TEST prior to placing on your body.

Hello and Welcome to my world!
I was a stay-at-home mom until my youngest went to school. To supplement our income during that time, I sewed at home doing alternations and handcrafts. Once all 3 of my kids were in school, I went to work in the outside world for 35+ years and had a successful career.
Now fast forward. I never lost my love and passion for creating, when I retired from the outside workforce I decided it was time that I go back to doing what I truly love, I've come full circle.
I’ve always loved trying anything and everything that got my creative juices flowing, but my true passion was the sewing machine.
In 2018, I opened truME Collection focused on self-care. Here you'll find an assortment of items that will help promote relaxation, reduce stress and help with you pain management needs. Each item is individually made with quality materials.

Every item you find in my both my shops are handmade by me with the occasional help from one of my grandkids. Each item receives my heart and full attention to detail, no mass production here!!

How it’s Made
All truME Therapeutic Flaxseed Heat and Cold Bags and other gift items are made using quality fabric and materials. My therapeutic bags are only filled with all-natural food grade flaxseed, no other fillers are used. When selecting a scented variation, the flaxseed is blended with organic lavender/chamomile or eucalyptus/peppermint with a trace of pure essential oils.
All items are stitched using both overlock and single needle machines for lasting durability in my eco-friendly, home workshop.
