Meet the Maker

Hi and thank you for visiting my shop.  I am Constance and I specialize in preserving your cherished moments with memory quilts and pillows that are stylish and complement your home decor. I started making photo memory quilts while caring for my mother who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Seeing the joy and comfort that a quilt brought to her inspired me to create these cherished treasures for others. My photo quilts and pillows are made with fade-resistant ink and quality materials. They are available in a variety of sizes. They make wonderful gifts for everyone.

Please contact me before ordering and I will create a cherished quilt of memories for you.

How it’s Made

When we receive photos from our customers, we use fade-resistant ink to print your images onto quality photo fabric. We then color set and color fast the photo fabric to prevent the color from running when washed. The photo fabric is then sewn into cotton quilting fabric to complete the design for the front of the quilt. It is then combined into a “sandwich” as the top of three layers. The middle layer is cotton batting, and the bottom layer is cotton quilting fabric. The three layers are basted using safety pins or basting spray to hold the three layers together as they are sewn together and then finished with binding.
