About this Product

Introducing the "Pineapple Paradise" quilt, a unique and vibrant work of art that will add a touch of tropical flair to any home.

This handmade quilt features a classic pineapple design, but with a twist: I've added colorful blocks to each corner of each pattern to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. The quilt is made with 100% cotton and measures a generous 82 inches by 96 inches, making it the perfect size to snuggle up under on a cold night or use as a decorative throw blanket.

The "Pineapple Paradise" quilt is sure to be a conversation starter. The bright and cheerful colors will bring a smile to your face, and the intricate stitching is a testament to the quilter's skill and craftsmanship.

This quilt is more than just a functional piece of bedding; it's a work of art that will add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any room. Order yours today and let the "Pineapple Paradise" quilt transport you to a tropical oasis.

Comment: This quilt top was long process of iron, cut, sew, iron, cut, sew - but hundreds of times - I spent a months just on making the top. Working from 7am till after midnight. When I finished it I took a week off from even looking at fabric. I did not care for the look in the corners and change it up to call it my own. Free hand quilting was a bear and I want to say turned out spectacular. I thought of keeping this quilt but I have way too many. This one was one of the most time I have ever spent making a quilt.

Meet the Maker

Joseph Marchena (Me)

How do I describe myself.  I am a sixty-seven male who still wants to know how everything works. In my teens and without any money, made one Television from two broken TVs. Rebuilt my car motor. Able to have anything broken item on my lap able fix it within an hour. Quilting started about 30 years ago when friend Dee asked me to join her in a classroom to learn how to make a quilt. I bought a hundred dollar sewing machine and joined her in class. I admit I had struggled through that class and had made a few quilts after that after finding out not all sewing machines are alike. After that I bought a Bernina 170 and it was a great sewing machine. I made so many quilts, table covers, napkins, you name it, but quilts are puzzles and I had love puzzles. I unfortunately had a lot of four-letter words working on that sewing machine – I bought the 770QE+ and also bought a serger.  So, most of my family have at least five to ten quilts and friends as well. I am now selling them on here. I hope you will love the quilts as I have put a part of my life into each one. You might find a similarity in other quilts, but mine will always be special and different. I am sorry as I don’t usually put things on Facebook or X. I used to but someone cloned it and did some bad things.

Me and my artwork

How it’s Made

This quilt will honestly take part of your lifetime away. But it is a beautiful quilt. You need to have a cutting board , Iron board around your sewing machine, all at sitting level. Iron - cut and sew - over and over and over . I have one other quilt i will be posting that was even longer and that is why now i am a senior. Kidding but it did take a long time to make.
