These bright and cheerful moccasins for preemies and newborn are hand knit in wool yarn, then gently felted. The soles and trim are in a contrasting color, and I have added a decorative wood button, which has also has a touch of glue on the thread for security. The foot length is about 3 1/2 to 4". A wonderful baby shower gift; no need to wrap as each pair comes in an organza gift bag!
As these are made from soft and cozy wool, gentle hand washing in tepid water is recommended to avoid shrinking. Squeeze dry in a towel, then air dry.

Meet the Maker
I have always been attracted by colour and artistry, and enjoy working with fiber, paints, dyes and wool. I became a rug hooker in 1971, and for over 30 years it has been my occupation. As a certified instructor, I travel several times a year to teach this art. . and for it I dye wools, design and print patterns and hook as often as I can! Here will be finished items for sale, and eventually some dyed wools as well that are currently on Etsy. And perhaps a few other items as well!
