About this Product

Your New Best Friend for Those Problem Areas

Introducing Rough Patch by Cult of Bees, an all-natural solution for skin in need of a little extra care. This super-nice balm blends Cult of Bees Pure Beeswax from our hives in Maryland with Shea Butter, Lanolin Oil, Mango Butter, and Vitamin A – ingredients renowned for their skin-nourishing properties. Ideal for addressing rough patches on elbows, heels after hikes, bug bites that annoy, or any other areas requiring some tender care. And it smells great, too!

How to Use

Our Rough Patch Beeswax Skin Balm has a firm, dense texture thanks to the Beeswax and Arrowroot Powder. To use, gently scrape the balm with the back of your fingernail and collect a small amount. You don't need much.  Apply the balm to a small area of the affected skin and rub it in, allowing the warmth of your skin to melt the balm. Wait a minute for the balm to absorb naturally, then rub the area again to complete absorption and reduce any oily residue.

Why Wait?

Unlike products with potentially harsh chemical additives, our balm utilizes the natural properties of arrowroot powder and beeswax for a more holistic approach. While it takes a little extra time—about a minute—this method ensures that your skin benefits from the purity and efficacy of our natural ingredients. The minute you spend waiting is a small investment in the health and wellness of your skin.

Our Commitment to the Bees

All hive products are ethically and responsibly harvested from the Cult of Bees apiaries located in rural Central Maryland.

Ethical and Responsible harvesting stands at the heart of our Practice, ensuring that every product we offer respects nature and affirms our commitment to our bees. We ensure that our bees are provided with ample resources to thrive and harvest only excess hive products, leaving the rest. This approach allows us to offer small batch products that are not only pure and of the highest quality but also reflective of our deep respect for the intricate balance of nature.  Each item in our collection is a testament to this harmonious relationship and we promise our patrons that their choice supports a cycle of sustainability and mindful stewardship.
