Green and deep red earrings in an art deco style. Lightly faceted ruby in zoisite accented with sterling silver and topped with a small faceted ruby - perfect for the holiday season. Wear these for parties or evenings out - or every day. The gemstones and sterling spacers have been carefully hand-wrapped and hung on my own hand-forged Argentium (tarnish resistant) sterling silver ear wires.

(What is ruby in zoisite? This Tanzanian stone is a combination of earthy green zoisite with inclusions of black hornblende minerals and deep red and pink ruby. It has a distinctive and interesting mottled pattern, looking a bit like evergreens.)

Meet the Maker
After spending my days working with computer programs, I love to spend time working materials with my hands in my studio in upstate New York. I've been hand-crafting jewelry for about 15 years, working primarily with gemstones, pearls, and precious metals. I enjoy the mechanics of putting beautiful components together - and sometimes being surprised with the results.
