About this Product
One of my favorite childhood memories was catching fireflies in a jar and going to sleep with their flickering glow on my nightstand. These fairy lanterns are a magical twist on that old memory that can glow year round.
Each lantern is handmade and one of a kind. All lanterns include a battery powered LED tea light and regular wax tea light. They also come with a tag that says, "Goggles and gears, and everything steam, that is what punked fairies are made of."
Adelaide: light blue ribbon with a nautical trim
Eleanor: rose ribbon with crown trim
Isabelle: dark blue ribbon with bird trim

Can be used outside, but will not hold up outside in weather, so bring back in with you

Meet the Maker
I am ManxMargie. Manx are the people from the Isle of Man, where my ancestors are from. The symbol of the Isle is three armoured legs. I used this an inspiration for my logo that incorporates my passions of sci fi, fantasy and gaming.
How it’s Made
I start with a blank pint Mason jar and a custom cut vinyl fairy. Next, the outside of the jar is coated in decoupage, tissue paper and glitter. Lastly, the jar is finished with gold Rub 'n' Buff. The handle is shaped wire. Finally the lanterns are decorated with ribbon, twine, pearls, buttons, charms, gears and keys.
