About this Product
The inspiration for this shadow box was the original Western photo of 3 men that is 100+ years old. They look like border cowboys to me so I call them the 3 Amigos although they appear to be Americans. The background is braided jute with braided leather. The frame is a turquoise to darker blue in color. There is a silver Western Thunderbird applied to the front of the frame. There is a leather string across the top for hanging that connects to 2 pieces of braided leather on the sides. One side also has a brass round tag with the number 76 which is probably an old hotel key tag and an old fashioned key (key is not antique).

Meet the Maker
My name is Sarah Laster. I live in a very small town in Eastern Oklahoma just 9 miles west of Fort Smith, AR. I am pre-retired. That means I've retired from the corporate world but I don't have a retirement income. I live with my grandson, 3 dogs and 2 cats. All 6 of them are rather spoiled but well trained at the same time. I sell handmade, one of a kind art, upcycled clothing and accessories and theme based shadowboxes as well as custom shadowboxes. Most of my custom shadowboxes are Memorial Keepsakes of a loved one that has passed. Its an awesome way to see items on a daily basis that would normally be packed away in a box somewhere.
How it’s Made
This shadowbox began with a southwest pattern paper layered with a jute woven piece. The western photo is a genuine photo. It is surrounded by braided leather as well as braided leather going around the inside of the frame.
