A unique turquoise necklace: Seventeen turquoise briolettes (teardrop-shaped beads) are hand-knotted onto beige silk in the tin cup or floating style. The turquoise is a soothing robin's egg blue with an interesting brown and yellow matrix. Silk is a wonderful strong fiber that has a beautiful drape - its beige-y brown color will blend with or complement any skin tone.
A silver-filled clasp secures this necklace at 19 inches.

After spending my days working with computer programs, I love to spend time working materials with my hands in my studio in upstate New York. I've been hand-crafting jewelry for about 15 years, working primarily with gemstones, pearls, and precious metals. I enjoy the mechanics of putting beautiful components together - and sometimes being surprised with the results.
