Kathleen Fields loves the art of Crochet. Using this wonderful needlecraft for the past 30 years, she has designed many beautiful Blankets and House Decor items.

How it’s Made
I sketch my design ideas, such as a kitty, mice, and balls of yarn. Next, I transfer my sketch onto an Excel grid chart, adhering to the overlay mosaic crochet guidelines. After charting the grid design, I proceed to write out the pattern. Additionally, I create a digital PDF pattern, incorporating instructions, charts, border recommendations with straightforward diagrams, and blocking instructions for the final product if necessary. A simple photo tutorial is also included to demonstrate the inverse stitch, allowing crafters to replicate the design on both sides of the blanket if desired. Instructions for adding extra color sections are provided as well. Before publishing, I have experienced overlay mosaic crocheters test my pattern to ensure accuracy. Finally, I share my pattern online and actively discuss it in social media groups.
