Luminous white teardrop shaped coin pearls have been hand-wrapped onto an oval hoop and ear wire. I've forged the hoop/ear wire from one piece of 21 gauge Argentium sterling silver, hammered it for strength, and filed the tip for comfort. The pearls measure approximately 10 x 13mm, and hang 1.75 inches from the top of the ear wire.
Beautiful, simple, and radiant - these earrings will make a graceful ornament for a bride. Consider them also as gifts for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, for the holidays, or for a June birthday or anniversary (the pearl is the June birthstone).

After spending my days working with computer programs, I love to spend time working materials with my hands in my studio in upstate New York. I've been hand-crafting jewelry for about 15 years, working primarily with gemstones, pearls, and precious metals. I enjoy the mechanics of putting beautiful components together - and sometimes being surprised with the results.
