I am married with two grown children and four wonderful grandchildren. My husband and myself live in Delaware, surrounded by chicken and vegetable farms. It’s a quiet, laid back lifestyle which fits our golden years nicely.
Stained glass is a hobby I had gotten into about 30 years ago. Now that I’m retired, children are on their own, and husband is busy with his own hobbies, I can devote more of my time to it.
Looking at sheets of glass and imagining what it can be turned into, then making it happen, is what gives me the most joy. Over the years I have designed and installed many windows for family and friends. Now most of my glasswork is sun catchers and small panels, though I enjoy making the occasional custom stained glass window.

How it’s Made
This smaller wind chime begins with a clear diamond bevel. Golden wire scrolls are attached by solder. Three strips of Cobalt blue glass were then cut, ground and drilled so jewelers wire and beads could be attached. Two crystal spears were added for extra sparkle.
All five wires are attached to the diamond bevels, and cobalt blue glass nuggets are soldered to the metal scrolls.
There is NO monofilament in this chime. Jewelers wire and metal crimps will keep this together for a very long time. It can be hung inside or out, with no worries of broken strings.

Please note that I believe strongly in recycling packaging when at all possible. Your item may arrive in new, or clean and reused bubble wrap and/or boxes.
The item you purchased will be packaged with care to avoid any breakage. However, things happen. Sometimes the carriers are not as careful as we'd like them to be. In the event your item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately. I will want to see a photo of the damaged item, and I will refund, or ask you to return it depending on what we determine/discuss.
