About this Product
This is is a one-of-a-kind handmade crystal flower. There are five sparkling glass crystals making up the flower petal. Inside the beautiful petals are four "stamens" made of orange glass beads, and silver solder drops. The stem is a golden twisted wire with delicate molded green glass leaves.
This is truly a beautiful suncatcher fitting for a special gift, or your amazing Mom on Mother's Day. This would be a welcome gift to anyone.

I am married with two grown children and four wonderful grandchildren. My husband and myself live in Delaware, surrounded by chicken and vegetable farms. It’s a quiet, laid back lifestyle which fits our golden years nicely.
Stained glass is a hobby I had gotten into about 30 years ago. Now that I’m retired, children are on their own, and husband is busy with his own hobbies, I can devote more of my time to it.
Looking at sheets of glass and imagining what it can be turned into, then making it happen, is what gives me the most joy. Over the years I have designed and installed many windows for family and friends. Now most of my glasswork is sun catchers and small panels, though I enjoy making the occasional custom stained glass window.

How it’s Made
Five glass chandelier crystals have been scrubbed and carefully foiled around the edges and soldered together to make up the petals for this striking flower. Six tiny orange glass beads are then stacked on a silver pin and soldered into the center of the flower as the stamen. Small balls of soldered are dripped around the petals and stamen for added sparkle.
A golden wire is twisted and attached as the stem, then molded glass leaves are soldered to the wire. After a thorough scrubbing, an orange silk ribbon is attached for hanging.
This solder contains some lead, so keep away from children and pets.
When your flower eventually needs to be cleaned, you can swish it through some soapy water and give it a rinse.

Please note that I believe strongly in recycling packaging when at all possible. Your item may arrive in new, or clean and reused bubble wrap and/or boxes.
The item you purchased will be packaged with care to avoid any breakage. However, things happen. Sometimes the carriers are not as careful as we'd like them to be. In the event your item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately. I will want to see a photo of the damaged item, and I will refund, or ask you to return it depending on what we determine/discuss.
