This listing has a Blank Mini Accordion Fold Sketchbook to use a party favor or special gift card.... I have just finished making a whole new batch of these mini books using the full color range of Mingei and Echizen papers from my expanded collection of Asian papers. These books are the same dimension as that listing, except that they are covered in a Tairai paper which has a smooth surface and small golden swirls of fiber inclusions. I will make more books with this cover paper when these sell out, but they may be of slightly different dimensions.
The inside paper is White Rives BFK mould made 100% Cotton rag archival art paper. I started with half sheets of BFK, the length of each strip is 22 1/4" long. There are 8 panels measuring 2 3/4" wide and 2 3/8" high, (with 6 panels on the reverse). The covers are approximately 1/8" larger on each side, or 2 3/4" high x 3 1/8" wide. The last photo shows the solid color covers of both this listing, the Mingei listing and the Ogura books as well. They are all BFK inside papers but differ slightly in size as listings since I used different groups of trim to make the listings. The size of these books are the same as the Mingei.
The reason the 100% Cotton fiber paper is called "rag" is because it is produced from actual white cotton fabric scraps which are sourced from the textile industries. The fabric is beaten to reclaim the cotton fibers and it is this pulp which is formed into the sheets using a deckle and mould, the feathery edges of the paper is called a "deckle". There will be a partial BFK watermark on the final panel of paper which is attached to the back cover for some of the books, and there is a deckle edge on the ends of the strips. The cover papers are made from sustainably grown Asian mulberry plants and have swirling fibers in the pulp as the paper is formed. The binders boards are 100% recycled pulp. All materials are considered archival.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
