About this Product
These Mini Book Ornaments are covered with either Blue or Green Flower print patterns in a classic Italian Florentine design in varying hues of blues and greens. They have the signature gold filagree associated with Florentine paper. The Blue designs are first collaged onto a gold decorative paper and then onto a shimmering Sapphire Blue paper while the Green prints are layered onto the gold and then a Green Canson pastel paper. I hand cut all elements of the books and used a transfer adhesive to collage them. The inside covers are the same two cover papers. Florentine end papers wrap around the text block.
There are 32 pages of German Hannemule fine laid writing paper which were hand torn. This lovely classic writing paper is from a fine European paper mill. It has a subtle texture and is a soft white. Each book measures 1 7/8" x 2 1/2", hand sewn using a metallic Gold thread which extends and is knotted to form the loop to hang it wherever you like! Perfect for penning a love saga, making notes along a trip, playing hangman enroute... And then hang it on the Yule tree at your final destination. Ah, the possibilities! It makes a perfect Stocking Stuffer.

I'm a lifelong artist and crafter. I started Grin Graphics to do professional Illustration and Printmaking in New York City where I worked with Galleries and Museums. Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. The items I have crafted for my shop are designed to help you express yourself creatively as well.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
