Handmade pair of Desert Ironwood Hardwood Earrings.
Olneya tesota is a perennial flowering tree of the family Fabaceae, legumes, which is commonly known as ironwood, desert ironwood, or palo fierro in Spanish. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Olneya. This tree is part of the western Sonoran Desert complex in the Southwestern United States.
Earrings are finished with our two step natural oil finish to highlight the species unique grain patterns and colors as well as to protect the wood from moisture. No stains or dyes are used, these are the natural colors of the wood.
Earring are assembled using Black Titanium (Grade 1 Commercially Pure Titanium) completely hypoallergenic findings and jump rings to help alleviate any potential issues in people with sensitive skin.

These earrings are first rough shaped on a belt grinder and then hand sanded to final shape.
