The party season is back! Parties need their memory books so I've made an assortment of fancy 6" x 8" BFK fine art paper Accordion Sketchbooks that can also be used as a Wedding or Party Alternative Guestbooks which can be laid on a table for guests to attach instant photos and write their captions on. Or take it on travels and vacation to sketch in. This listing has a Red-to-Blue Dupioni French Crushed Silk covered book with a decorative bellyband trim. The blank book is made from a double length strip of White Rives BFK 100% cotton rag paper. stretching about 58" long!
Rives BFK has a beautiful smooth vellum surface, and is an acid free 100% cotton rag mould made paper from France. This fine art paper takes all drawing media like a pro, and with a natural deckle edge that runs along the bottom edge of the book, it is as fancy and formal as you could want in an album. It has a 10 panel double length strip of paper, each panel is 5 ¾" wide (and 8 more panels on the reverse side), and can be propped up on edge In varying ways to display all the fun on its panels. The book uses two strips of the BFK, attached to each other with a folded ½" hinge and joined in the middle of the reverse with transfer adhesive. The full length of this double strip is approximately 58". The cover measures 6" wide x 8¼ " tall. It will hold a 5"x7" vertical photo with room for a caption below. BFK is an excellent art paper for drawing or dry brush painting in the field and makes a lovely surface for signatures.

Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
