About this Product
Here is an assortment of Twelve gift cards using a variety of Hokusai inspired Japanese Yuzen papers in Turquoise, Black, White and Gold. The papers are collaged onto either Turquoise Stardream Cover stock, or a now discontinued German Cover cardstock of Gold or Silver with a White inside. The papers are Japanese Yuzen silkscreen patterns adhered to the cardstock with a transfer adhesive. This is the second time I have made a dozen sets of these gift cards and there a a few changes since the last iteration. There is a new paper in the mix, two cards with a Dark Blue background with printed Silver waves on a Silver card. There are one card each of the Turquoise and Gold waves in two print options as the Crashing waves print is discontinued and ending it's run in my collection of Yuzen papers. All prints have a straight edge cut instead of being punched with a scallop edge. All papers and cards were hand cut. Most of the 12 cards in the set are comprised of two cards (in each of 5 paper designs). They come with a special pearlescent vellum envelopment which has been printed with a white swirl of what I like to think of as a foamy spray from the active waves. I hand cut these as well, using scissors. I include round 1/2" sticker dots to seal the envelopes which I have prebent for ease of folding. The Gold and Silver dots are in the same quantity as the colors printed on the cards. Look for the included instructions for folding the prebent envelopments.
I love the hand made quality of an envelope without glued seams for a gift presentation. This group of papers have been some of the most popular in my shop. The last photo give an idea of the area of a cut swatch for cards against the repeat of the paper in situ. If you are interested having envelopments with sealed edges and adhesive strips on the backs for use in scrapbooking, contact me so I can make the changes you need.
