About this Product
I've made an assortment of fancy 6" x 8" BFK fine art Accordion Sketchbooks or Guest Books. And here is Hokusai's "The Wave" as a printed Yuzen paper in shades of gorgeous Blue. The inner paper, Rives BFK in White, has a vellum finish, is acid free, 100% cotton rag, mould made in France. It has a cover which measures 6" wide x 8ΒΌ " tall. The accordion is made using two strips of the BFK, one strip has a folded tab with a transfer adhesive which is attached one to the other on the reverse side of the book. The full length of the book is approximately 54".
There are 10 panels on the front, two of which form the inside covers, and 8 panels on the reverse side. Each panel measures 5ΒΎ" x 8". If used as an alternative guestbook and Instant Photo album, it will even hold a 5"x7" vertical photo with room for a caption below. This fine art paper takes all drawing media like a pro. It has a natural deckle edge which runs along the bottom edge of the paper concertina and is as fancy and formal as you could want in an album. The BFK paper is strong enough to mount those photos and can be spread out to be written and drawn on, with photos attached and commented on by your guests. The ten panel double length strip of paper which measures approximately 54" in length, can be propped up on edge afterwards to display all the fun.
It's a perfect fit for a gathering of any sort!

I'm a lifelong artist and crafter. I started Grin Graphics to do professional Illustration and Printmaking in New York City where I worked with Galleries and Museums. Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
